Cognos 8 BI安全认证设置
默认配置的Cognos8使用匿名访问，在Cognos Connection中将不需要登录，也看不到log on/log off的连接，自动以anonymous账户登录。
这时如果在Cognos Configuration中直接将Securiy->Authentication->Cognos->allow anonymous access设置为False，则会无法启动服务，主要报错为：
DPR-CMI-4006 Unable to determine the active Content Manager. Will retry periodically.
CM-CFG-5076 A Content Manager configuration error occurred during the initialization of Cognos Access Manager.
CAM-AAA-0145 There is no namespace that is properly configured for authentication.
这是因为，在Authentication只有一个默认的名为cognos(Type为Cognos)的namespace的情况下，必须使用anonymous，否则就需要新建一个namespace，以指定其他认证方式。
Cognos 8 BI中如何实现关联报表
前面的一篇文章中，介绍了在BO XI中利用URL传参的方式实现关联报表，虽然最终实现了要求的效果，但是过程比较繁琐，尤其是几个URL的参数设置，在初次使用中可能会遇到大量的问题。
在Cognos 8 BI中实现同样的效果则简单得多，只需要设置Drill Throughs的属性，即可将参数从主报表传达到关联的目标报表。
还是以一个简单的例子来演示整个的实现过程。示例中使用的数据和Package都是Cognos自带的Sample数据，关于如何创建和导入Sample数据，请参考Cognos自带的帮助(Cognos(R) 8 Business Intelligence Installation and Configuration Guide)。

Oracle 2007财年第四季度同比增长27%
Oracle今天公布了其2007财年第四季度(2007年5月31日结束)的报表，显示了强劲的增长，GAAP每股收益达0.31美元，同比增长27%。值得关注的是，其中新的许可证销售增长达到了17%（数据库和中间件增长18%，应用软件增长13%）。看来Oracle10G的推广算是大获成功。随着Oracle11g发布在即，Oracle能否继续获得高速增长，11g的普及速度和程度应该是至关重要。让我们一起期待Oracle11g的面市^_^

Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL) today announced that fiscal 2007 Q4 GAAP earnings per share were up 27% to $0.31, compared to the same quarter last year. Fourth quarter GAAP revenues were up 20% to $5.8 billion, while quarterly GAAP net income was up 23% to $1.6 billion. Total GAAP software revenues were up 19% to $4.8 billion. GAAP new license revenues were up 17% with GAAP database and middleware new license revenues up 18% and GAAP applications new license revenues up 13%. GAAP services revenues were up 26% to $1.1 billion compared to the same quarter last year.
BI方面，前两天Oracle发布了Oracle Business Intelligence Standard Edition One，该套件包含了 dashboards, reporting, ad hoc query,analysis, 以及ETL等功能，旨为中小企业提供BI解决方案。Oracle声明该套件主要针对Windows平台并且license低至每用户1000刀，矛头直指微软势头正旺的SQL Server 2005 BI。

解决Oracle Analytic Workspace Manager错误一例
