BusinessObjects是一家Business Intelligece解决方案供应商，公司的中文名叫“博奥杰”，主要提供report/ETL/企业绩效管理等BI产品，最新的产品是BusinessObjects XI，新的BusinessObjects Enterprise平台，整合了web intelligence/desktop intelligence/olap intelligence/crystal reports等优秀的report工具，并且其语义层universe的概念应该是符合BI的本质的，由数据分析人员设计数据语义层，由业务人员自己生成需要的report，多么美好的构思，可惜现阶段还是社会主义初级阶段。
目前的BI市场，工具一大堆，并且各个版本之间变化很大，文档也参差不齐，让人有点无所适从。或许这是厂商的一个策略，可以乘机卖培训？呵呵，开个玩笑，不过这类培训确实挺贵的。回到正题，说一下BOB，这是一个专门讨论BusinessOjbects的技术论坛，很多BO的难题，从各种report设计到SDK开发到universe到系统管理，都能在这里找到答案。人气也不错：
